    Leaving The River For Rockdale!

Just wanted to update everyone on our first day of The Texas MeatUp - Fall Edition. Several of us arrived a day early on Thursday to get the festivities started. After packing up my van I left my home on the river. I made quite an entrance pulling into Rockdale.

Left to Right: 58limited, Eric and Bride Stacy, Collette and her lovely husband Captain Mike, Troutman. We were astonished to find that the people who stayed here previously had left numerous bottles of alcoholic beverages on the table. We immediately called the front desk and asked them to clean it up.

As I was checking to the motel, a strange looking fellow walked up to me and said he was Panhead John. I reserved judgement. Then, as I was getting to my room, the fellow in the room next door turned out to be CaptainMike. He promised that he could vouch for the Panhead fellow.

Huskee Got the cooler at Academy and the wagon on Amazon called a Mac Sports utility wagon. Got several types to choose from. It folds flat, as a nice cover and stores away nicelyFairly sturdy, holds about 200#. $100.

I have to say that it also managed the beer for Stacy and I very nicely. So, if you anticipate cooler moochers, this is the setup you need!

Truly nice, but where are the grills, PBR, Old Crow, and grilled meat? Pictures, please?

Jim, I still have the list of local bondsmen somewhere around here from the last time Rockdale was invaded. Willing to share with you because wife wife doesn’t want anymore late night calls from the local authorities.

WHY I FEEL LIKE CRAP TODAY…..a short story by esteemed author PJ.

        4-5? Coors Light
        1 1/2 Large Frozen Margaritas
        4 Jack and Cokes

Suffice it to say, the novices in the group could not hang with the Big Dog.

Do you actually drink Coors Light? That does explain the feeling. 😨

I want a beer, just like the beer, that pickled dear old PJ.
It was the one, and only beer, that PJ ever had.
A good old fashioned beer, with lots of foam.
It took ten men, to carry PJ home.
