I used to be able to post .HEIC photos from the iPhone just by changing the extension to .jpg on the (Mac) computer. It would not allow me to do that today. I had to download a converter from the Ap store and it worked.

I might be able to add .HEIC photos/files to the allowed list. But most browsers do not (yet) support that format, so they would not display. Conversion to JPG (or better PNG) is the best way.

With the converter I can do that. Again, I appreciate the work you do. I wanted to give you a heads up for others who might be having the same issue. I have no idea why the simple changing to .jpg on the Mac no longer works. It's not your problem - it is theirs. I have similar issues at work where we use iPhones for photos and PC's. Sometimes they load and sometimes they don't.

That is what makes a great forum, everyone helping!

I can only guess as to why the extension change trick stopped working. One of two possibilities. 1) you phone or the forum software was converting the forum automatically, or 2) the forum software added and extra file check to ensure the extension is really the correct file type. This is an old hacker trick, change an executable (.exe) to an image (.jpg) so that it uploads.

The size is much better, thank you! I am still seeing that the default font for new posts seems to be Times New Roman where as the default font for comments is some non-serifed font.

New post. For the first Time New Roman, I did not chose a font, for the second I selected Times New Roman just to be sure.

pkadare I hope my words weren't taken as a "Shut up already we get it!" didn't mean that if so. Data points appreciated. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew the little changes aren't permanent. Like when you get a new Windows update and your wallpaper is reset, just gotta go through and customize all over again.

How do I get to the regular Amazing Ribs Site with all the recipes and techniques once I'm signed into the pitmaster section? If I go to the main page I'm seeing all the ads and other crap.

It seems the site just gets more and more confusing

Wallpapers Pretty simple: There are two parts to this website, the free public site which has 3000 pages of great info, recipes technique, product reviews, all by our professional team. And no ads Then there is the Pitmaster Club which is an interactive forum and no ads. At the top of the page you can see the two parts clearly labeled. When you go to the free sit e you should NOT see ads if you have logged into the Pitmaster CLub unless you are blocking cookies, which is how we tell your browser you are a member. If this does not clear things up let me know.

I am a new member and am really enjoying this site! My wife and I are both stoked and will see all of you in Memphis next summer. Now, the reason for my post: When I joined the Pitmaster Club I used my real name for my username and now wish I had chosen more wisely. Would it be possible to have you change it for me? The best I can tell from looking at the user list the name is available. I would like to have the user name ( without the dashes I entered to set the name apart: -- Alabama Smoke -- if I am allowed to do so. If so would you please make this happen for me? Thanks in advance, Tom

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

          the good one grill

The Good-One Open Range is a charcoal grill with an offset smoke chamber attached. It is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. The grill sits low in front and doubles as a firebox for the smoke chamber which is spliced on above and behind so it can work like a horizontal offset smoker only better. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Why stink up the house deep frying and spatter all over? Do your fried chicken and calamari outside. Blackstone's Rangetop Combo With Deep Fryer does it all. Plus it has a built in cutting board, garbage bag holder, and paper towel holder. An additional work table on the left side provides plenty of counter space.

          Professional Steakhouse Knife Set

          masterbuilt gas smoker

Our founder, Meathead, wanted the same steak knives used by steakhouses such as Peter Luger, Smith & Wollensky, Morton's, Kobe Club, Palm, and many others. So he located the manufacturer and had them stamp our name on some. They boast pointed, temper-ground, serrated, high-carbon stainless-steel, half-tang blades with excellent cutting edge ability. The beefy hardwood handle provides a comfortable grip secured by three hefty rivets. He has machine washed his more than 100 times. They have never rusted and they stay shiny without polishing. Please note that we do not make, sell, or distribute these knives, they just engrave them with our name.
