Gonna do a burn in today; plenty of oil, an metal dust all over everything I've handled, would rather prefer not to have either in my maiden cook...so No Food Cook Tonight
I'll git yall some pics up, here in a spell!
Many thanks fer yer interest, an patience, brother...

Durin th interim, I'd like to give proper credit to Rickie, my neighbour across th road, an a Fine Grill Cook, in his own right!
He come over, helped me assemble, an upright this svelte, demure, 250 lb. 'bouncin baby smoker'...
We tried, time after time, to figger out why th coals grate wouldn't fit into th firebox, last night....turns out, th ash pan was on its side, to th rear of th firebox, denyin that last 'lil ol' 1.5" of clearance... Neither one of us was even drinky, either!
Reckon I'll go, read th instructions, now!Last edited by Mr. Bones; September 7, 2018, 08:59 PM.

Ahm'a go out, light her off fer a burnout; lotsa blackish/greyish oil/grease on th grates, an such, so no food ain't gonna touch it, tonight, til alla th petroleum residue is cooked off.
