Recently the heat shield, on a One way that had only been in service since March 2022, started to blister the paint. I was not aware it was a heat shield and sent photos to Open Range. I worked with Kelly Gray and David Critten at Open Range and they informed me it was jus the heat shield probably and how would I like to proceed? I pulled the shield and found the grill underneath to be fine. They said the had never seen this before, and promptly sent a new heat shield and rivets to attach it.
