    Leveraging my BBQ skills

I would have put this in the off topic forum but I didn't see it in the restructured channels and since I'm burning a log I put it here in the log burning channel.

Part of a bag of Kingsford got this stump going and the lid to my 26 kept a slow burn all night long. Next I'll take care of the apricot stump the same way.

You should have thrown a brisket caveman style on that fire

Well, maybe I will on the second stump! Or maybe I'll throw something into this one tonight!

Took me a minute to figure this out. Genius. And yeah some baked potatoes would be killer.

I agree - you could have at least put some smoke on somethin'.

How big was the stump and did it get completely consumed in one "cook"?

About a foot in diameter and rotted through the core. I was able to stick my entire arm down the center of the trunk to my shoulder.

Hopefully you don't live in an area with a lot of organic material in the soil. The roots will continue to burn and possibly have an underground fire.

            Mudkat grantgallagher Drunky LMAO.

I’ve only ever managed to drink the beer with the cigarette butt in it. However I did set my mattress ablaze once. They are not supposed to burn I thought. Story for another day though.

I let a hose run for a couple of hours when I was done. Hopefully, that takes care of it. The ground here is already wet but I certainly don't want to root fire spreading to the nearest tree.
