I always wanted a stick burner!

I always wanted a stick burner. My neighbor on Lackland Air Force base (looong time ago) used to turn out some terrific que on his rig. But I live in Jersey City NJ and finding wood at an affordable price would be a full time job and maintaining a decent woodpile would be tough. So a dedicated stick burner has always been out of the question.

I just saw the M1 which burns charcoal or wood in a dedicated firebox. This looks real good and although it’s not an offset I could burn sticks when I have a Saturday to myself. This sound like a dream come true which makes me skeptical but I’m ready to buy it right now.

So 1. Has anyone had hands on experience with this cooker.

    2. Is there a link I can buy it through so that I can make this website some $

Read our review of M1 which straddles the territory between a rugged traditional Texas wood burning smoker and an attractive charcoal grill that fits right in on any patio without taking up a lot of space. This 2 in 1 device eliminates the need for a separate grill and dedicated smoker earning our AmazingRibs.com Platinum Medal.

I feel for you but I’m sure the M1 will suit your needs.

I just received mine and have cooked on it only once so far. I plan on trying to provide a review after I’ve cooked on it a few times. I cooked a few chicken quarters using charcoal. Results were good and the chicken was done faster than I expected. Probably due to the thickness of the steel and the airtight overall build of the grill.

I purchased mine through Bigpoppasmokers.com and that saved quite a bit of money.

A hands-on review would be most appreciated!
