    'Big Joe' done got sprung from 'Prison', Sattiday..., when I got my garage door spring replaced, as posted elsewhere...

    Hmmmmm, seasonin' looks to be intact...
    He's even got some new bling bling, fer this year...
    Fer one thing, a lil' galvi' bucket, to catch th' drippins...

    In th' nick of time, fer Memorial Day weekend cooks, also got a nice custom log grate, clean from Austin, TX...
    Same very talented feller that made my charcoal/wood basket, , ultra heavy-duty stuff!!!! Lotsa thumbs up, Scott!!!!

          1 chimney unlit KBB, 1 chimney lit. Dumped when ashed over, then startin' makin' with th' Hickory splits, to get a nice bed of wood coals...
          Yeah, I knew th' stock (wire) charcoal grate was not long fer this world, way I use this cooker!

        Experiencin' wide temp variations of ~.5°-, alla th' way up to as much as !!!!

        Dang It!!!!@#$%^&*!!!!
        If only I had spent 1-5 thousand dollars more....
        Mebbe, then I could dial it in, all proper, like.

          Could use some Live Fire, about now!
          We usedta burn 10,000 rounds+, apiece, during a day on th' M-60 range.
          That would be very cathartic, right about now...

          That would be very pleasing. I never got to put that many rounds down range, but a torpedo or twelve was a good day at the acoustic range! Watching the target acquisitions and the reports from the range officer were really satisfying!

        Now this is good! Can't wait to see what you're cooking on that thing. 5 degrees temp variation is very good. Love those log grates, they will last you a life time.

          I am very close to pulling the plug on the other Slaughterhouse posts due to not havign the time to find their proper homes (and they are very old). If anyone else cares to find some worth saving and tag me in them we can save them!
