Delete them and repost them should work. Sometimes it helps to do 2 or 3, then insert, then do a few more.

I was too. But by the time I got mine into place it was pretty much dark out. So I didn’t fire it up until the next day.
Just kinda stared at it with the biggest S eating grin on my face for quite a while.

Yeah these beauties weigh a ton. Think the 24x36 pipe one I got tipped in around 900lbs.

You are gonna soooooo love it.

Haha. Yes the cords stay put easily that way. I haven't had Buffalo Trace in a long time.

I'm debating on my first cook being pork butt or brisket. Just not sure.

Thanks. I seasoned it last night. Going to try a good just wood trial burn tonight to learn temp control without closing the vent off and causing a lot of smoke.

Joetee Just remember, small HOT fire. Build the fire only large enough to maintain your acceptable range for cook temp (don't plan on a steady temp, plan on a *acceptable range*) and make sure that small fire is HOT. For my cooker, the logs are usually 1/8th splits and about 12" long. Smaller than a person might be used to for the average bonfire sized pieces.

Yes I've been doing a lot of studying about this smoker since I've had 5 months to think about it. I think I pretty much know what to do but now, to put it in practice. 😂
