    Why Not????

Done told yall, few days previous, there'd be a Quiz a comin, an here it is:

Shown these here pics, why would ya NOT/should ya NOT cook on it.

On that day, #stayincookout Sattiday, I did, indeed cook on it, but I took preventative measures, fer safey's sake...notice how I'm still here?!

(Nope, it ain't on accounta Smokey's all up on it.)

Talk to me, please, cause I very much want yall to live to a Ripe Ol Age, an remain safe, while makin Great BBQ.

First Keerect Answer wins a NIB Thermoworks Smoke, (if ya needin it), elsewise pass on it, let a thermoless Member git hooked up. Seems fair enough, leastwise, to me.
    Good Luck, yall!!!!

Let me step to the plate first - you should cook on it cause it’s there. And you shouldn’t cook on it cause you should cook on it never not cook on it if that makes any sense. Don’t need the temp measuring device on the outside chance I got it right, but I think I got it right. Stay safe, Bonsey.

It’s not safe to cook because there’s no fire going.

Certainly, a most worthy guess, Brother!
Foodsafe temps are nonexistant, at time of pics, as so poignatly demonstrated by Smokey.
Sorry, my friend, but not th Winnin Answer...
Be safe an well, make Great Foods!

Cause the neighbors won’t be able to resist and proper social distancing will be difficult to maintain ? I don’t need the thermometer, just couldn’t resist guessing.

Good guess, an common scenario, whenever I light off, th neighbours all come a Zombie Walkin over, ain't changed, recently, but they do stay back a bit. Reckon on accounta I'm old, an they's hopin I won't croak, quit bringin em BBQ
Unfortunately, not th Winnin Answer, but I appreciate ya playin along, many thanks, Brother!

Before firing that rig up, I’d take advantage of those nifty wheels and roll it over onto the concrete I see a couple feet away. If I’m right, please send the controller on to someone in need. I’m fine in that department.

Normally, that's right where she sets. On that #stayincookout Sattidday, I actually rolled her alla th way round, off into th yard, desparately tryin to mitigate th 25 sust, 50-60+mph winds of th day. It was a right chore fer my old, skinny arse, especial th yard was soaked, an she weighs~450 lbs.
Normally, I'd never fire her up, on th lawn, but yard was factor of ten more'n enough wet to preclude fire concerns, even with th wind.
Sorry. no winner, this time...Thanks fer playin, Brother!

probably should cook in it, not on it.

Eithern it ain't yers, and belongs to a rival, or you got a hive of bees/nest of hornets in it. Besides while you COULD cook on it, it's better to cook IN it. Do I see rust holes all in it?

    I have no guess.

I forgot Smokey is a tuxedo. I have two of those critters. They do have a personality.

He do have quite th 'personality', Brother, an I am Truly Blessed he came mewlin, trillin plaintively, walkin down th street, an adopted me...I NEVER take that fact fer granted, believe ya me. Only an unwittin, ungrateful fool would overlook th importance of a Gift of such Magnitude, sent Direct from th Heavens, Free Shippin!!!.
Much Love out to all yall there, especial them kittys!
BTW, yer lack of guess is as warm any any others posted, thus far.

Never seen it leakin, alla th times I've cooked on her. Stable enough that I would TOTALLY trash th front end of Blue Belle, tryin to knock it offa th cooker chamber by repeatedly runnin headlong into it, with an '84 Sub Bourbon. Or, either I'd end up in th hospital, if I was enougha fool to try knockin it loose, much less off, with a sledgehammer....yeah, that'd be smart, right?
Jus look at th pics, tell me what's wrong. Tricky? Mebbe, but No Tricks, right in plain sight, Brother.

Durin alla this craziness, Smokey implored to me to send ya a resupply of snuggles, an kitty kisses, to help see ya through, Uncle Hambone

Much love from both of us, alla th way out here on th windswept prairie.

Well, true dat, wherever she sets , but unfortunately, not th winnin answer. tell me, if I'd set my cooker up, an ya were teachin me, what do ya see wrong, what crucial lesson would ya impart to me???

    #15
If I had an acolyte, fixin to commence to begin lightin off that there cooker, chances are Very High that I'd give em a (very lovin, but firm) Gibbs Slap, upside th nape o their neck, then splain to em what they was doin all wrong, an jus why it was Dangerous lol
