Normally, that's right where she sets. On that #stayincookout Sattidday, I actually rolled her alla th way round, off into th yard, desparately tryin to mitigate th 25 sust, 50-60+mph winds of th day. It was a right chore fer my old, skinny arse, especial th yard was soaked, an she weighs~450 lbs.
Normally, I'd never fire her up, on th lawn, but yard was factor of ten more'n enough wet to preclude fire concerns, even with th wind.
Sorry. no winner, this time...Thanks fer playin, Brother!

    I have no guess.

I forgot Smokey is a tuxedo. I have two of those critters. They do have a personality.

Certainly, a most worthy guess, Brother!
Foodsafe temps are nonexistant, at time of pics, as so poignatly demonstrated by Smokey.
Sorry, my friend, but not th Winnin Answer...
Be safe an well, make Great Foods!

Eithern it ain't yers, and belongs to a rival, or you got a hive of bees/nest of hornets in it. Besides while you COULD cook on it, it's better to cook IN it. Do I see rust holes all in it?

Before firing that rig up, I’d take advantage of those nifty wheels and roll it over onto the concrete I see a couple feet away. If I’m right, please send the controller on to someone in need. I’m fine in that department.

Cause the neighbors won’t be able to resist and proper social distancing will be difficult to maintain ? I don’t need the thermometer, just couldn’t resist guessing.

It’s not safe to cook because there’s no fire going.

Let me step to the plate first - you should cook on it cause it’s there. And you shouldn’t cook on it cause you should cook on it never not cook on it if that makes any sense. Don’t need the temp measuring device on the outside chance I got it right, but I think I got it right. Stay safe, Bonsey.

    started a topic Why Not????

    Why Not????

Done told yall, few days previous, there'd be a Quiz a comin, an here it is:

Shown these here pics, why would ya NOT/should ya NOT cook on it.

On that day, #stayincookout Sattiday, I did, indeed cook on it, but I took preventative measures, fer safey's sake...notice how I'm still here?!

(Nope, it ain't on accounta Smokey's all up on it.)

Talk to me, please, cause I very much want yall to live to a Ripe Ol Age, an remain safe, while makin Great BBQ.

First Keerect Answer wins a NIB Thermoworks Smoke, (if ya needin it), elsewise pass on it, let a thermoless Member git hooked up. Seems fair enough, leastwise, to me.
