It looks like the kind of a cooker that requires a few bourbons or beers to cook on.

Good guess, yard was powerful squishy, but she sank more down on th firebox/wheels end, cause that's where th most weight is concentrated.
    No winner, so far.

Reckon I'll use one, when I come acrosst a situation where I find myself needin one. So far, resta th time, thermopop/thermapen, an that dial have worked jus fine.

Had one in an offset flash when I opened the door back in 2010. Took off half my beard, one eyebrow, and the skin inside one nostril came out when I blew my knose. Was middle of the night and wife was on the couch. Said for a split second, it looked like daylight out the window. Think I got pics somewhere, I'll try to find them and post them tomorrow.

    WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!!!!
    Nicely Done, Brother!!!!!
Th House recognizes Th Distinguished Gentleman from Th Republic of Texas!!!

Prize is yers, if ya want it, My Brother!!!!

A grease fire in a stickburner is a Bad Fin Juju Deal, anyway ya look at it! BUT, things can actually be WORSE, Trust Me, on this, PLEASE...

    THEY CAN EXPLODE!!!!!

If yall ain't never seen one 'Flash Off', lemme tell ya a story, that etched that fact into my consciousness, permanent-like, (as well as my epidernis):

I was playin headliner out at an all weekend biker party in th country, with hundreds of my ridin bros, an their families there. Usual stuff: Blues, Brew, an BBQ. Although I was directly involved in th foodstuffs fer th event, I wasn't cookin, at th time IT happened...

Th Ginormous propane tank stickburner trailer cooker what was in use, was sittin slightly down in th fantail, up at th funnel...Really Bad Deal, as it turned out...

Now, while I appreciate a good light show, while I'm on stage, crankin out some music, I was TOTALLY unprepared fer what happened...

Cooker was loaded up with, likely at th time, 40+ racks pork ribs, 25+ butts, multiple briskies, assorted yardbird parts, on th upper shelves...oohh, yeahhh, we likeys to eat...

Th improvised stage I was playin on (hay wagon) was easily 50 ft. away from th cooker, away over there, to th driveway...

Well, yall, way th smoker was a settin, grease didn't jus slowly trickle down t'wards to firebox, an make a brief, occasional spurt o flame, nossir...wasn't like that, at all...

It was settin stack down enough to let her fill her entire belly up with cooker grease, which finally overflowed into th firebox, then fired off.

It blew both cooker doors an th firebox door wide tf open, spewin flamin, fragmented BBQ shrapnel, logs, embers, coals, etc. over a very large radius, includin all over my stage, quite some ways away...doors on that cooker likely weigh an easy 150 lbs. ea., to give yall an ideal of th force involved. Same same, fer firebox door.

Long story short, I determined right then an there, that was a performance that I never wish to repeat. Nor should yall. Onliest way I gotta way with it on #stayincookout was by havin a pan under my butt, as shown in that topic, to keep th juices rounded up.

May seem like a long, roundabout way to share this crucial lesson with others, but, hey! At least yer clothes, Stratocaster, amp, house, yard, car, an yerself, or loved ones etc., ain't on fire; ya jus hadda listen to me ramble on, a spell...

Ferget ye NOT, no matter what cooker yer usin...

Be safe an well out there, Brothers an Sisters!!!!
