One of the last remaining original shops on Bleecker street, Ottomanelli's is the real deal. Every brother in there is 70 years plus, and they know meat. Gorgeous prosciutto there as well, and they'll cut it from the heel if you'd rather. Wonderful product and used to hit them up weekly when I lived down there
They have been my butchers for almost 30 years. Pete was my guy until he died now I am a Frank man but everyone there is a pro. Now that I moved from Bleeker st up to Ct I still go in once a week having made the mistake of trying to find anyone as good up here. No idea what I'd do if they were not around anymore.
