Sometimes i'm a little slow... for the last year I have been searching high and low for some dino ribs but never have much luck, they are either puny little things from Walmart or thin ones like the ones I got last week that I think were leftovers from prime rib season.
So it just dawned on me that my Sam's always has the Kalbi style cross cut ribs, which I have tried before and were delicious, and they were in containers like they cut them on-site so I thought to actually ask them. Of course they have packs of beef ribs but nobody ever asks for them so they never put them out.
I got these today, a cryo pack of 10 pounds for $45. These dudes are big, there are 2 in a pack end to end which is kind of unusual given their pork ribs but i like being able to see what i'm getting, 13" on one set and 14" on the other. These aren't those cruddy ones from Walmart either with a tiny piece of meat holding the bones together.
By the way this is the hood of my Jeep they are nearly covering!
