Long time lurker and finally joined!.
I'm a retired Army pilot, OH-58D. I did 11 years as an Infantryman and 15 as a scout pilot.
I smoke something at least once a week on my modified Oklahoma Joe's smoker. I added a chimney extension, heat diverter, a DigiQ controller with a Pit Bull fan.
Thanks to this page I have become very proficient at smoking, thank you!!!
Welcome, I remember a few escorts we had that I was told were OH-58's out in HI in 96, not sure if they really were or not. I always wanted to be a door gunner, but ended up a ground guy. I did get to fly around the med in a blackhawk and that was awesome, and 2 runs of SPIE rigging which was...fun.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
