Hello fellow pitmasters, I’m David and am now a member. I’ve been following this site and using it’s information for years. I started my barbecuing 7yrs ago with a large BGE and fell in love with it. Three years ago I got an M1 from M Grills and dove in deeper with great 2 zone cooking and full stick smoking. Glad to be on board.

Welcome from Los Angeles proper! I lived in Sherman Oaks about 15 years ago. Spent a lot of my time eating chicago-style hotdogs at a spot at Woodman and Moorpark. Felt very much at home eating at a place with posters of Bears, Bulls, and Cubbies like Ryan Sandberg, Rick Sutcliffe, and Andre Dawson.
