My zeal for outdoor cooking greatly exceeds my skill at it, so I am here to learn and be inspired. Started on Weber kettles 30 years ago, then maturity, kids and long hours at work invaded, and sent me into exile for a few years. I was forced to join the gas grill community via Weber Genesis 3 burner back in '08. I learned about GrillGrates and gave myself a fitted set for Christmas several years ago and ditched the OEM cast iron grates that came in the Weber gasser, and that really upped my game. Using a LizzyQ tube smoker I have been low-and-slow smoking multiple times per week year 'round for a few years now and having a blast. I discovered Meathead on the Grill Grates website, and am greatly impressed. Here to learn more. Lusting for new grills and considering Pit Barrel Cooker, Grilla's pellet cookers and Kamado. I was fascinated by masterbuilt's gravity series but am wary of design flaws detailed elsewhere. 2020 has taken a bite from the budget to put it mildly, so purchase of more toys has had to wait.
Enough rambling- thank you for the entry to this community.
