Greetings from Santa Clarita (not Santa Clara) CA. For 20+ years I grilled with a TEC infrared grill and was quite pleased but it aged out, So I replaced it with a tricked out Weber Summit (natural gas) and am quite pleased with it's power and versatility. I've since added a Bertello pizza oven which works great for pizza once you get the hang of it. After reviewing lots of YouTube channels on cooking I realized that it's now time to learn the fine craft of BBQing which I've learned is different than grilling. So I'm considering acquiring a WSM but am open to and continuing researching other options. This site and the YouTube channel are terrific resources so thank you.

Welcome from Appleton, WI, I highly recommend the WSM, I have the 18â€. and love it! For mods I did the lid hinge, Fireboard ver.1.0, replaced the door and bought the rib hangers. You can’t go wrong with it.
