Welcome aboard! I grew up in Rocklin and Loomis area back when they were very small farm/ranch communities. I still have plenty of family all through the area, including a cousin who was burnt out in the Paradise fire. Stay safe in this nasty fire season.

I love smoke but wildfire smoke is no fun. Had many grills over the years, from hibachi, to kettles to gas Weber’s. Currently have the Char-griller 3001. We retired here and left our rusted and corroded gas Weber (red one) back at the old home.
Now on five acres surrounded by lots of animal ranches. Mangalistas, Berkshires, goats and chicken farms. I can buy these animals on the hoof to avoid the usda. Haven’t done it yet but my neighbor sells his pigs and sheep this way, whole,1/4, 1/2 shares...etc.
Anyway, found this site a couple of weeks ago and am amazed at all the good info here!
