After a friendly call-out by FireMan, I figured I better get in here and make my formal introduction! I've been reading AmazingRibs for a few years now but just recently became a paid member. I, like many of us, started out just wanting to make a lil bit of good que. That small desire has grown to me now owning a PBC, Camp Chef Smoke Vault 24", A Weber Performer with SNS and Vortex accessories, a Weber gasser and more on the way.
I haven't been in any official competitions but some friends and I have been doing an annual smoke off for the last 5 years and I've won 3 out of the 5. I'll be participating in my first real comp this summer at as an amateur at the Elkhorn Ribfest. I love to travel and try BBQ wherever I go.
