Joined from a recommendation from a friend and grilling mentor. I was taught to cook by my Dad who was a chef and restaurant manager/owner. So, I’ve been able to handle just about any task in the kitchen I’ve set my mind to.
I can handle a grill whether charcoal or gas. But I’m new to the smoking world. I’d wanted a pellet smoker for 5-6 years. On 12/21, I fulfilled that dream. Treating myself to an early Christmas present of a Green Mountain Grill Daniel Boone.
I am getting ready to give smoking a real good shot this coming year. I have plans for everything from brisket, tri tip, pulled pork, baby back ribs, smoked sausage and whatever else decides to pop into my twisted mind.
I love to cook, especially for my great niece and nephew, whom I lovingly refer to as Minion 1 & Minion 2.
I am hoping for some really tasty food coming out of that smoker.
