Hey, everybody! Hadn't been doing much outdoor cooking because of the rains recently, but things are picking back up. Jerod Broussard - Regarding the Tejas - bought it in '94 from a dealer in Dallas. Has worked well for me, but every few years I get my welder cousin to take it apart and tighten everything. It can leak smoke like a sieve, but probably would do better if I got it a cover.
As it's just my wife and me, I'm thinking strongly about getting a WSM - that's how I wound up signing in again, to do a little research. Quite a bit of material on here.
Huskee And I promise I'll review the material you linked and get my "how-to's and please-do's" done. I think I may have already done some of it, but I'll definitely check it out.

Welcome to The Pit btuckertx ! Great job on your signature. It sounds like you have a nice smoker, sure love to see some pics of it over in the smokers>logs section. Do you smoke with all wood on it?
Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos.
Hope to hear & see more from you!
