Joing the Amazing Ribs Club
Hi I go by mountainsmoker as I live just outside The Great Smoky Mountain National Park in NC. I have been using the Weber 22 kettle to smoke all types of meats for over 40 years. I am 66 now and bought my first one in the late 70's. I have belonged to a numerous number of barbeque organizations as I have moved around the country. First while as an officer in the Navy and then while working for my company. I thank you for letting me join temporarily and I will definitely join permanently Look forward to learning from you and being able to also help with my experience.Tags: None

Current line-up of cookers: Weber 26" kettle w/ SnS and BBQ Guru adapter; Weber Smokey Mountain 22" w/ Guru adapter.
I'm in a cabin near Gatlinburg right now, regretting the ribs I ordered at Jimmy's yesterday. In town for an AAU basketball tournament this weekend at the Rocky Top Sports World. Welcome to the Pit!
