Royeston welcome to The Pit! You've only had your Weber OTG for a month and have made all that food? And have all of those high skillz level accessories? Color me impressed. Pics of your cooks Sir!

Hey Roy, that Pit Barrel can happen a lot quicker than the Chubby!!

Welcome to the Pit. I am in east Texas. Cut grass for two hours this morning. It got hot quick. I'm usually in a chicken plant when the sun comes up.

I would love an insulated vertical smoker if I ever have to cook as many butts as I do briskets.

I looked at the backwoods HARD, however, the money that was supposed to come in never did. No biggey. This Pit Barrel puts out some ridiculous BBQ.

Welcome Royeston! Great story there, and thanks for joining all of us and helping support a great thing. Good job on the signature too. Those Backwoods smokers are nice machines, I considered that or the Party myself.

Hello fellow lovers of smoke and flame!

I have been studying AmazingRibs.com very closely for 1 month now. I bought a new Weber Gold 22.5” kettle 1 month ago and I was looking for information on how to use it. I was blown away by AmazingRibs.com!
Of course I bought a Smokenator on Meathead’s advice and I cooked my first Pulled Pork Butt for 9.5 hours and it was AWESOME! Then I cooked some steaks. Some chicken. Some thick burgers that were seared in the rear… AWESOME. And now I have a brisket on the grill at this moment….my first brisket ever. Oh, and I have cooked lots of ribs lately… so good.

So, at the very least, after all of this great food, I owe Meathead the price of a subscription to his website for all of the joy he has brought to my house! I wish there was a book!!!! I need this on the book shelf! What if the web goes dark???? How will I still have access to AmazingRibs.com vast repository of myth busted, evidence based knowledge?

I live in Harlingen, in the Rio Grande Valley, 10 miles from Mexico. We have great Mexican food here. Now I have great smoked meat here too!

I have a Pit Barrel Smoker on my wish list and a G2 Chubby also. I will probably be wishing for a long while.

    Enjoy,

    Royeston
