Welcome to The Pit. I suggest giving a chuck roast a try, and smoke it at 250* - 270*. It should cook in 5 or six hours.

Since both you and Mudkat recommend it, I'll have to give it a try! I assume when finished it's more of a shredded meat for sandwiches? However I do want to give the beef ribs a try as I had a bad experience going out to have them at a local BBQ place for my last birthday. To sum it all up, they kept saying they had them then when we arrived early to get one (or two, or...) i was informed the were all out. Actually, they had never smoked them that day!
