    Hello from Bellingham, WA

    Hello all,
    I am pretty new to the BBQ and Smoker thing but love it. I discovered this place a couple years ago and did my first Turkey on the pellet BBQ from one of the recipes here, now I am hooked!
    Just got a new Green Mountain Grill and can not wait to read some of the recipes to try on it.
    Going to love being a part of this community, hope I can contribute at some point.

      Being a part of this community means there is an initiation. Someone will be along later & explain the handshake. In the meantime we require pics, lots of pics, sec 8, par 4 of the rule book. Pics of yer gear & at least yer first cook since you plopped yer money on the table. Welcome, eat good and have fun!

Since you’re new, and if you haven't already done so, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum. Also, it's very important that you: Give us an email address you actually use.             Welcome from just north of the border. We may bump into each other at the Bellingham Costco as that is the only place I can find packer briskets and short rib plates without having to special order.

                      Welcome to the Pit, from just down the road in Everett. I have the portable GMG, but don't use it all that often because I also have a kettle, PBC, and a propane smoker.
