Hi, I'm Victor, from Brasil, I have an offset smoker, which is not very common around here, neighbors always ask what type of "churrasqueira" (grill) that is . On the other side, most "pitmasters" here uses offsets, WSM and Barrel types are not so common, even with good wood costing a lot more than charcoal.
American BBQ is starting to take off around here (usually together with artisan beer) since our Brazilian bbq (grill over coals) is already so widespread and saturated.
Brasil is a very big country, not unlike USA, so we, also not unlike USA, have lots of types of barbecue. The more common is grilling picanha and sausages over charcoal.
