    Hello from Chicagoland

I've have been using AmazingRibs.com as a go to source for information for a while and felt it was time to join the club.

I have a beloved Primo XL and a Weber Gasser. I also fool around with a Poly Science Sous Vide unit.

Actually won a little raffle recently and have $700 that must be spent on a new cooking devise.

I'm thinking of a Primo Round (local dealer has one on closeout)

I'm considering adding to the winnings and grabbing another Primo Oval or venture out to another style.
Must be able to use in the Chicago winter.

Quite perplexed, Another Ceramic, Pellet or Backwoods Chubby.

    I welcome any thoughts.......

Welcome from Chicago. I am a fan of my Grilla, a pellet grill. Has a nice double wall construction for the winter, and the convenience of pellets.

That said, I've had my eye on a Backwoods Chubby for a while, but can't at present due to condo restrictions.

Well, aside from MCS, how would you like to use it?

Good exercise for me to look at the abbreviation list.

                        It's MCS....

But I have to spend $700+ on a cooking devise per the rules of the raffle or risk a public Facebook flogging.

My Primo XL is the primary cooker with the old gasser for quick weeknight stuff/overflow.

If I go with the Primo Round it will be for overflow and having the ability to smoke/cook at a different temperature.

If I go pellet/other I really don't know how it would break down. If I stay in the $700 range, perhaps the Grilla. If I decide to kick in more then perhaps the Rec Tec.... but think I am going to stay in that $700 range.

What about a PBC, or save some more bucks and get a KBQ (whether you can use that where you live is a different question).
