I LOVE the woodwind. I know, "real" smokers smoke more, but I vividly remember the constant supervision and "tending" the "real" smokers required, and I would not be able to do that. This lets me do some awesome smoking, direct heat grilling, and searing all in the same unit. There is a learning curve, but forums like this got me up and running before the setup even arrived.
Thanks for your thoughts about the Woodwind. I've had a camp chef smoke vault for a few years and enjoy it a lot. I like the camp chef products and have been interested in adding a pellet smoker to the menagerie. Glad to hear more good things about camp chef.
