Welcome from Memphis, TN way! I've got a kettle with the SNS and it has a 7.5lb butt on it now. The SNS is awesome. It's an easy way to learn how to smoke meat without spending a fortune or having to constantly tweak the settings. It's almost RONCO fool proof. You know....set it and forget it. I love smoking on the kettle with it. Good luck!

Thanks! I bought a Smokenator 1000 on an impulse a few years ago, but found it to be a lot of work to keep temps stable. i thought long and hard about buying a WSM before i decided to follow this site's advice for Weber kettles and buy a SNS. So far I've only done a test run without meat, but I was very impressed by the SNS.
