Morning all! Glad to be a member and part of this! I'll summarize as quickly as I can here. Worked in restaurants for as long as I can remember in every aspect. 5 years ago took a job with Sysco to stay in the business but get back to some somewhat normal hours. The absolute FIRST thing I did when I was reintroduced to what a weekend actually was lol was buy a smoker. Started with a Masterbuilt electric to get my feet wet. This spring I took the plunge on a Chargriller Pro offset smoker and did a decent amount of mods to it to be where I wanted to be. Now I'm ready for some real action! Looking forward to advice, recipes, and some great conversation! Also looking for some bbq apparel too... anyone have any recommendations on sites to shop?

BBQ apparel, hmmmm, an old t-shirt that will get pleasantly smokey soon. A pair of shorts that may or may not get a little grease splattered, unless you wear an apron, but please no funny little things on the apron. Also make sure if you so choose the apron route, that it is of the appropriate length. We have a member whose is to short & his shorts get messy anyways. Sandals are an option, some do, some don’t, I do, cuz I don’t give a rip. Hats are also optional & we’ve,got some weird ones in the group. There that should do it. Now, smoke away.
