    Excited to become a member!

After reading the reviews for this site and Mr. Goldwyn's book, I decided to jump in head first. I just ordered Meathead and became a member of this site. I own a food truck and last year I decided to add smoked foods to my menu. I spent the entire winter honing my skills through reading books, watching Youtube videos and smoking. The additions to the menu have been a huge success and now I'm looking to up my game and hopefully, share what I have learned.

Welcome to the Pit! I don’t know what food you cook but pulled pork on Pizza, in Mac and cheese, or in a soft taco would be a home run.

I agree! The only thing I haven't done yet is a pizza, but I've been kicking around some ideas.

I've been a firefighter for the last 19 years. My food truck runs all over NE Ohio between Cleveland, Akron and Toledo. I'm going into my third year running our truck.

Welcome from Winnipeg. Food truck can be a crazy amount of work, but fun if you get to cook what you love.

Ok, ok, but we’re not related. Right? Anyways, welcome aboard, eat good & have fun! Oh yes, looking forward to the sharing, yup!

And another thing, a few months back someone called him Mr. Meathead, just to straighten things out. Also it is required that pics of your cookers & first cook be submitted after joining. It’s the rules around here. 🤠

MeatMonster, After trying out different smokers I settled on a Yoder 1500. It's a great smoker. The smoker is too big for my truck. For events that are longer than 2 days I smoke onsite. The smell of BBQ lures customers in. I am considering purchasing a Traeger 200Com.

On another note, I hope to visit Scotland someday.
