    Hello from Glasgow, KY

    I just joined earlier this month and really enjoy all the valuable information and recipes. I started out on a COS from a box store and recently graduated to a 48D Lang, which I absolutely love. It's something about a stick burner that makes cooking a challenge. Most of my cooks have been the usual; wings, butts, ribs all with great success. I'm ready to move to the next level and tackle the beef side of things.

      Welcome to The Pit. For beef, chuck roasts, short ribs and brisket are all great. A chuckie cooks like a butt, but to a slightly higher temp for probe tender - it would be a good place to start.
