Hi everyone, David from Seattle here. I discovered the Smokenator through this site about a year ago and have been back several times in the last few days trying to figure out my next step.

I started smoking about three or four years ago on my roommate's burned-out propane grill on our apartment's deck. There was no tank or attachment by the time I had moved in, so we McGuivered it into a charcoal grill. I wanted ribs one day, looked up smoking and made my first batch on a wing and a prayer.

Today I have a bit more experience, a back yard and, by comparison, a much nicer set-up. Looking forward to joining the conversation and seeing what more I can learn. And, hopefully, figure out if I'm going to augment my current rig, or go for something new.
