I'm a Cajun raised in Port Arthur, Texas but been in Austin area for about 10yrs . I love cooking, and eating, all kinds of food, especially BBQ and crawfish. I like to say that I'll eat anything that don't eat me first...it just has to stop moving long enough for me to get a fork in it! When I'm not cooking, golfing or partying with friends, I'm a Surgical First Assistant (17yrs now) and I specialize in pediatric craniofacial reconstruction. I'm looking forward to learning everyones tips and lessons on how to BBQ and grill. I'm a master crawfish boiler who has boiled over 40,000 lbs of crawfish in my life, so if you need help with that let me know.

Welcome to the Pit! Being from New Orleans I am familiar with all kinds of seafood, but when it comes to smoking and grilling it is pork, beef, chicken, shrimp and fish. You’ll have fun here.
