Hi Gang! I'm a photographer and drummer from Greenville, SC. I'm also a total NOOB on the grill and in the kitchen. Last year, while visiting my cousin in Austin, TX, he asked me if I wanted an amazing lunch and three hours later we arrived at Smitty's in Lockhart, TX. My life will never be the same and I'm on a quest to master brisket and I feel like I'm off to a good start because of my time reading Meathead's book but need some time practicing. Welcome to,the Pit! I have been to Greenville a few times. Nice town. Next time you are in Lockhart there is Blacks' and Kruez to try. I like the clod at Smitty's better than the brisket. The Pit is a fun place to be.Comment
