    Hello from Payson Utah

    Hello! Just joined the club a few days ago but I already kicking myself for not joining months ago. I have only begun working my way through Meathead's book and so far my favorites are pulled pork and smoked salmon. I am currently using a very cheap charcoal grill that I got off of CL and I will be looking to upgrade once my budget allows. Looking​ forward to a great summer!

          So far I am surprised at how well this grill has served me. The biggest gripe I have about it so far is that it has limited cooking space.

        Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

        Also, it's very important that you:

          Welcome to fun and learning! Folks were cooking good meat over open fires and clay ovens long before steel contraptions and electronics. Have a good time and when you're ready to spend money, there are plenty of us on here to help!

                  Ya oughtta be jus' fine fer now; reckon ya' don't have any cheaper cookers than I have!
                  Th' Magic is in th' Cook, not th' cooker...ya can make Great Food in any cooker, with th' right skillset (and mindset)...
