Introducing myself!

Thanks all! I am happy to be part of the family! I am back to BBQ after a multi-year hiatus due to being in condos and moving a lot. I did a lot of cooking back in the day in GA on an offset smoker. Now I have a house and am happy to be back at it. Wow! things have changed in BBQ tech since the late 90's. I am currently enjoying the RecTec pellet smoker but am looking to obtain additional gear. I think my next addition will be a Primo ceramic primarily for winter cooking. I have also been experimenting with a pit/cowboy style but have a lot to learn. Stay in touch!

Here's some 'new member' homework for you:
When you get a minute check out Pit Boss' Welcome & Announcements channel, as well as the tips posts in that channel. These will help you learn your way around The Pit, as well as set up your signature (tip #1) with your equipment. There's also a post that explains the best way to post nice big pics here... we like to see bragging pictures of your equipment and your cooks.
