I have been following Amazing ribs for a couple of years and decided I ought to support it. Its a wealth of information for sure.
I have been bbqing for a couple of years when weather permits and around here that's not as often as I would like.
I am 67 years old. Retired from a natural gas company in the electrical field. I look forward to learning more and being a better BBQ'R.
Started smoking with a cheapo Red Stone vertical smoker that I had to modify. later was looking closely at the big green egg but since I'm a cheapo decided on a Chargriller Akorn Kamado. I have been happy with its performance. Seems like it is easier to remove the ashes and is still very easy on the charcoal. Also have an old Fiesta 2 burner gas grill. Use a maverick for temps. It works well , occasionally have probe intermittent.
