Been a fan of Meathead's since I discovered the site a little under a year ago. ( http://www.ericsbinaryworld.com/2016/06/19/bbq-ribs/ ) I wanted to figure out why my BBQ, while delicious, wasn't in the same flavor profile as my favorite BBQ joints. After learning a lot about how BBQ worked, I realized I needed a charcoal grill as well. So a Weber Kettle joined my Weber Spirit. This weekend a Weber Smokey Mountain joined the group. I believe I now have all the tools I *need* (as opposed to lust over) to create every type of Q (or grilling or roasting) that I'd care to do. (BTW - the new reader post says to list equipment in the signature, but I must be getting old - couldn't figure out where in the user settings to update my signature)

Anyway, I decided that Meathead had helped me so much in my journey of discovery in Smoking and BBQ and grilling that I'd buy the book to support him and the site. Bonus! The book came with 3 months of the forums so here I am.
