I live in the Greater Houston area, The Woodlands, to be precise. My love of all things gastronomic comes naturally, being a native of Baton Rouge, LA. I learned to cook from family growing up and even cooked in a restaurant in BR in my younger days. Living in Texas it was inevitable that I would become obsessed with low and slow real BBQ. I started this hobby a few years ago and like many of us resistance was futile and here I am a few years later with 4 smokers and considering more!
I frequent a couple of other forums and find them full of fantastic knowledge and great ideas. I look forward to learning a lot and hopefully contributing a little as well.
