I've cooked a little on offset stick burners, and the over and under doesn't have the great variance in temps from one side to the other. Now, that is to be expected with this style, but it really does help with maintaining temps for an even cook when doing multiple items that cook at the same rate.

Well said and welcome JohnnyB! I haven't heard/learned much about the over and under style of stick burner. How do you like it? How does it compare to other cookers you've used?
