Welcome to The Pit JT! That's an awesome cooker combination you have. When you have a chance take a few minutes to read my welcome letter as well as tips on how to use The Pit. They can be found in the Welcome and Announcements Channel. In particular, check out my tip #1 on signature creation and tip #4 on pic uploading. As you can see we're a small but QUICKLY growing community. The more information and love you put in the more interest we'll get from fellow Pit members. Before you know it we'll have a BBQ wiki bounty of information for everyone to review, improve, share, and use. I look forward to your input!

Hey Hey Hey from JT in Toronto
Hi Folks,
I'm a confessed bbq nut from Toronto who has been not only soaking in the brilliance of cooking and Q'ing here on Amazing Ribs but has been spreading the word among fellow bbq addicts here in the great white north. I have learned so much from MH and the gang over the past few years, I can't begin to express my appreciation for all the information on this site that has helped me up my game. Is it the only bbq site? Nope. There are lots of good ones but when I need to "reset" and get down to the fundamentals and the science, I'm right back on amazingribs.com.
I've got a Weber 22.5" Platinum kettle with a smokenator and grill grates, a Jumbo Joe for those fishing trips and other times when a small grill to sear a steak is all that is necessary and a Weber Genesis for the odd time I find use for natural gas. Oh yeah, I bought a PBC in January and yes, it does rock, especially when food volume and speed of cooking are required.....so simple, so good!
I "think" I make great good but I'm looking forward to improvements and new ideas with the help of you fellow Pit addicts.
Thanks,
JTTags: None
