    Mark from Los Angeles

Hey everyone, Mark here from Santa Clarita, CA which is about 35 miles North of LA. Married with a two year old daughter and all about the family. Work hard, play hard! Love hiking, backpacking, camping, "glamping" in our toy hauler, dirt bikes in the desert, and just about anything fun outdoors. And now, my new obsession, BBQ!

I have always wanted to get into BBQ and smoking, and recently took the first plunge buying a Pit Barrel Cooker. I am obsessed and having a great time making delicious food. I have already gotten so much help through reading a ton of articles here on Amazing Ribs, as well as forum topics. This last weekend whipped up a batch of Meathead's Memphis Dust for an 8lb Boston Butt, and it was awesome! Thanks in advance for all the help I'm sure to receive from so many of you, and I look forward to being part of this community!
