    Hello from Central Illinois

    First time poster here, but long time stalker of the site. Santa brought me Meathead's book for Christmas and after a few weeks I think I'm hooked on the Pit. So many good discussions and great experience to learn from!

    I've only been smoking for a year or so, but grew up being the "grill master" for my family because I enjoyed working the grill. Now I'm going on 30 and really enjoy the art and science that go into cooking.

    I hope to learn a lot and contribute where I can!

      Let me tell you friend, you do not know what hooked is. Let us know about 8 mos from now (the end of summer) whether your assessment of hooked was accurate. Glad to have you with us, eat good & enjoy!
