    Introduction

    Hi All. My name is Joe. I've been a long time propane grill master and now it's time to try something new/better. Looking forward to all of your help/suggestions to make my PBC gift a worthwhile one. I am pretty good with wine suggestions which I will offer to the group. Thanks

              Welcome to The Pit JoeF! We're glad you joined! Feel free to ask any questions about your PBC. If you haven't already found these, we have a PBC sub-forum (under Grills and Smokers > Charcoal) here and a Pit Barrel Cooker Tips And Technique page here.

              Since this is your first post, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

              Also, it's very important that you:

                        We also have a couple of wine discussions going on, one is here and another is here.

                        I love wine myself, the bigger bolder red the better. But alas, my budget restricts me to the supermarket varieties in the $8-25 range. A splurge wine to me is $40. I've some great cabernets in the $25 range (Decoy and Charles Krug come to mind), and some drinkable but forgettable ones in the $8-12 range.
