    Greetings from SW Colorado!

I've been lurking around here for well over a year now and thought it high time to introduce myself. Let me first say that this site is the finest bbq/grilling resource on the web and Meathead's book the best on the topic in print. Thanks Meathead! I've been grilling for many years but only discovered smoking the summer before last. I finally stopped curiously eyeing the electric cabinets in the big box stores, parted with the 300 clams and, for the first time, prepared some ribs that hadn't been boiled and then finished on the grill and I was hooked! Though it worked okay, I quickly outgrew the electric and opted for a more traditional cooker with more capacity. The first step up was to a Yoder Durango 24 and then to a Yoder Frontiersman. The former should soon be replaced by a Horizon Marshal 30 as I seem to frequently fill the large cookers with a lot of food for family and friends and there is no question that the demand is thanks in large part to the information available here. Thanks again for a tremendous resource!

I'm afraid I'm not much of a shutterbug but here is a photo taken while shuffling cookers around in preparation for winter. Thanks for the warm welcome all!
