    Hello from Oklahoma

    I got a new green mountain grills Daniel Boone wifi pellet smoker just before thanksgiving. Since then, i bought meathead's book and learned a bit about the science of meat. My next purchases were smoke and thermopop digital thermometers. I've tried a few of the rubs and recipes and had more success than any of the meals I've cooked in my gas grill before. A good friend turned me on to the site, and has been a great help. Most of his knowledge comes from here, too. Looking forward to learning more and getting better at this.
