    Hello all from Jax, FL.

Hey everyone. Nice website. I've just been reading up for the last couple days since I found this place. Great tips, tricks, and techniques. I mainly used to use my grill to make more charcoal. I used chicken, ribs, and chops for my base. You get the idea. Now, thanks to some 'Tube vids, I discovered hardwood lump charcoal, the chimney starter, and those little paraffin flame starters. Now I actually cook decent food.

Anyway, nice to find this place. I hope to be an active participant and hone my grillin' skills even more.

    Artie

Thanks Mb. So much good info here. I love that there's a Kamado sub-forum. I have one collecting dust. (The cheap-ish Akorn version.)

A belated welcome to The Pit Artie! We're happy to have you here. I am a big fan of the paraffin Weber starter cubes. I even take them to fish camp for starting bonfires. Dirt cheap and very functional! Look forward to more from you.
