    Greetings from North Texas

Serendipitously discovered this website searching for a pork rib recipe, and after perusing the forum, immediately signed up. And, really glad I did!

I live in Plano, TX, and grill and smoke on a Weber Summit, Traeger and Kamado. The Kamado is 20 years old and falling apart, so after reading Max Good's review and relevant forum entries, I will be purchasing a KBQ before the week is out. Looking forward to forum participation as a KBQ owner.

My favorite poem in honor of a close friend who passed away much too soon:

    “Experts ranked in serried rows
    Fill the enormous plaza full
But only one is there who knows
And he’s the man who fights the bull.”
    - Robert Graves

The picture is an old Arkansas Razorbacks Logo... but your probably looking at his avatar lol a little slow on the uptake today.

GadjetGriller is right about the picture being the old, and better IMO, Razorback logo, however, I do cook a lot of St.Louis ribs and brisket.

Welcome to the Pit tanstaafl ..... You wouldn't, by chance, be a fan of Robert Heinlein's work, would you?
