    Hey Y'all. Dive2Provo here.

I'm new to the forum. I was in the market for a new grill and stumbled on this website. Great advice and insight. I'm 54 and have lived my entire life in Georgia and North Carolina, so to me barbecue means chopped pork. I made my first barbecue pit when I was about 12 years old by digging a hole in the ground out behind my parents house, stacking up a row of cinder blocks 2 blocks high around the perimeter, and cooking the pork shoulders between 2 spring sets from some old cots and have been grilling ever since. For our family, get togethers mean something is getting cooked on a grill.

This past weekend I made my first batch of Meathead's Memphis Dust for some pork tenderloins. It was a hit with the crowd. Looking forward to getting and sharing some great recipes.

Welcome. The quality of the reviews here are surpassed only by the helpfulness of the members. Some of the threads about equipment, including the older ones, are worth reading from the first post on even though they run to many pages.

Have you decided on the new grill yet?
